Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Sales / Business Development Manager to join our growing team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in expanding eco-g’s client base and driving revenue growth whilst embodying our core values of Passion, Collaboration, Resilience, and Accountability.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Sales Strategy and Execution

Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue targets

Identify and pursue new business opportunities across various sectors

Create and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals

Negotiate contracts and close deals with prospective clients
Business Development

Research and analyse market trends to identify potential growth areas

Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective clients

Identify and establish strategic partnerships to enhance eco-g’s market position
-
Attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to promote eco-g

Client Relationship Management
-
Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients

Act as the primary point of contact for key accounts

Understand clients’ sustainability needs and challenges to provide tailored solutions

Collaborate with the consultancy team to ensure client satisfaction and retention
Sales Performance and Reporting

Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
-
Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline data in the CRM system
-
Prepare and present regular sales reports and forecasts to senior management
-
Analyse sales data to inform strategy and identify areas for improvement
Product and Market Knowledge

Stay informed about sustainability trends, ESG regulations, and market developments

Develop a deep understanding of eco-g’s services and their value proposition

Contribute insights to help refine and develop eco-g’s service offerings

Team Collaboration

Work closely with the consultancy team to ensure seamless delivery of client projects

Participate in cross-functional meetings to align sales efforts with overall company goals

Mentor and support junior sales team members as the team grows
Continuous Improvement

Actively seek and participate in professional development opportunities

Stay updated on best practices in sales and business development

Contribute to the improvement of sales processes and methodologies

Brand Representation

Embody eco-g’s values and mission in all client interactions

Represent the company professionally at external events and in client meetings

Contribute to content creation for marketing materials and thought leadership pieces

Required Qualifications​

Proven experience in sales or business development, preferably in consultancy or sustainability sectors

Strong understanding of sustainability and ESG principles

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to build and maintain client relationships

Self-motivated with a results-driven approach

Proficiency in CRM systems and MS Office suite
